What are the consequences of disabling Oracle rollforward logs in Hibernate?

If we turn off table space re-logs in Oracle, will they affect Hibernate transactions? These are the parameters present in Oracle EM at the table space level:

Enable Logging Yes Create repeat logs for creating tables, indexes, and sections, and for subsequent inserts. Recoverable none Repeat journal entries less, the above operations are not logged or restored.

Also, does Oracle commit / rollback functionality depend on these redo logs?
