Setting the Dump class

So, this may sound like a really stupid question, and I looked at the instructions from the parent site, but no matter what I do, I can not get this program to even start the installation ...

I tried logging in: cd / opt / local / bin / portslocation / dports / class-dump

which returned the error "this file / director does not exist", so I tried to open the folder by folder. when I got to: cd / opt / local / bin / I can't go any further. when I check the contents of the bin directory, the only files I can find (and I also can’t access them): "port daemondo portf portindex portmirror" I tried to do this on two computers so far to no avail, macports is installed on both as the website says, and I had trouble finding support. please and thanks!
