I am trying to create a situation where one or none of the groups of two ToggleButtoncan be included at any time. The problem is that if I change the state of the backup variable, the state of the user interface will not be updated.
I have one INotifyPropertyChanged.
I created mine ToggleButtonas follows:
<ToggleButton IsChecked="{Binding Path=IsPermanentFailureState, Mode=TwoWay}"
HorizontalContentAlignment="Center"
VerticalContentAlignment="Center">
<TextBlock TextWrapping="Wrap"
TextAlignment="Center">Permanent Failure</TextBlock>
</ToggleButton>
<ToggleButton IsChecked="{Binding Path=IsTransitoryFailureState, Mode=TwoWay}"
HorizontalContentAlignment="Center"
VerticalContentAlignment="Center">
<TextBlock TextWrapping="Wrap"
TextAlignment="Center">Temporary Failure</TextBlock>
</ToggleButton>
These are my supporting properties (I use the MVVM template, other bindings work, IE clicking on ToggleButtonenters these property parameters. When I change the state using the code, the Toggle button does not change the visual state. IE I set the backing property to false, but the button remains marked.
public bool? IsPermanentFailureState
{
get { return isPermFailure; }
set
{
if (isPermFailure != value.Value)
{
NotifyPropertyChanged("IsPermanentFailureState");
}
isPermFailure = value.Value;
if (isPermFailure) IsTransitoryFailureState = false;
}
}
public bool? IsTransitoryFailureState
{
get { return isTransitoryFailureState; }
set
{
if (isTransitoryFailureState != value.Value)
{
NotifyPropertyChanged("IsTransitoryFailureState");
}
isTransitoryFailureState = value.Value;
if (isTransitoryFailureState) IsPermanentFailureState = false;
}
}
