I'm just about to write a killer application for mac, but I would like to take money for it, since there are not many applications like this. Therefore, I thought to use some kind of activation or license key. I looked around, but the details of how to do this are relatively scarce. How can I do this in a way that will be easily implemented in my software, as well as something that does not require me to run the software on my server or depends on other companies working on their servers, but if I have to I will. I don’t want anything that will require me to pay money to some company to do this for me, paypal will get a big enough cut, I don’t want another company to deal with the reduction.
