Can you use the standard GDB debugger with Qt executables?

I just started using Qt and I wanted to debug my Qt application. Can I use a standard GDB debugger with Qt executables?

Yes, you can. You can also use gdb integration in Qt Creator , which is much better at checking data at runtime than just gdb.

There is no reason why you cannot do this.

Since Qt binaries are just regular binaries compiled by GCC, you can debug them like everyone else.
