Using Doxygen with PHP in Ubuntu

What does the main argument of the following expression explicitly mean?

The manual says that Doxygen only supports partial PHP. I would like to know what this means explicitly, since I could not find the answer to it on the main page.

There is no complete answer that I could find, but the state of PHP support is probably gradually improving. Here are some issues that I have found, some of which can be resolved:

• lack of namespace support
• problems with magic methods
• problems with documenting functions with a variable number of arguments
