I want to know if CSS behavior is changing on another operating system. My css works a bit differently for vista and wins xp proffesional for the same browser version. I tested my application on vista + ie8 and xp + ie8. It worked a little differently.

Officially, the CSS behavior should not change when using the same browser on a different operating system (for example, FireFox 3 on Windows, Mac OS or Linux). Width and float calculations are calculated by the browser, not the OS. However, there are some factors that make the site look a little different in another OS.
