Reporting Services 2008 on Sql Server 2005

Can I use Reporting Services 2008 with a SQL Server 2005 database? I need both licenses (for SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2005) Do I need two instances (SQL Server 2008 and Sql server 2005) or can I configure "Reporting Services 2008" as an addition to Sql 2005?

Yes, you can install the database on an instance of SQL Server 2005. However, you really need a different license for SSRS 2008. This is a completely different product. This is certainly not just an addition to SQL Server 2005.
