Rails Currency Formatting

Question

I am working on a Rails application and I am trying to find a better way to allow users to change the currency format of a report. This is not something that would be tied to their country or place, as they may need to send a report to people from other countries.

First I need support only for these 3: USD, GBP and EUR

In addition, there is no need to convert currencies. What is the best way to do this in Rails?

Instead of a drop-down list, I would suggest a list of links that have different meanings with examples, and then let the user click the one that matches the expected one.
