I have a ClickOnce application that, after installing on the client computer, creates the X, Y, and Z folders on first launch.
Now, when the user starts using the application, he / she creates various files in these folders. Later, a new version of the application is available, and he / she updates the application from version 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.0.1.
The end result is that the folders X, Y and Z are recreated (and are empty), and the user does not see the files that he created earlier.
How do we distribute files from versions and guarantee that the first time you install the application, the folders X, Y and Z will be created automatically?
