AutoCad EndPlot event firing too soon (C #, API)

I am using the AutoCad API to do the following ...

1] open autocad 2] download a document 3] print a document 4] close autocad

This all works fine, except that autocad closes too quickly before the document completes buffering. To get around this, I signed up for the EndPlot event (printing completed) and then tried to close my application.

The problem I am facing is that endPlot starts WELL before the document is hushed up to the printer - and therefore I am not getting output.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
