So, I’m interested in this for a while, I’m currently creating a website that is very image oriented. What do people think about preloading images? How do they do it? (Javascript vs display: none css?).
As users, what do you think of this? Does the speed of using the website increase the additional time you have to spend waiting for it to load?
From a programmer’s point of view, which is better?
