DB2, how to send an email from a stored procedure?

Question

I have a scenario where I need to send an email from my stored procedure to DB2.

However, I have not been able to figure out yet, except using the Task Center or Query Patroller.

Can someone tell me some indications of this? I do not want to do this from any other language. Thanks.

With 9.7, you can use the built-in UTL_MAIL or UTL_SMTP packages.

DB2 has nothing built into DB2, for example, xp_sendmail in SQL Server.
