How to install Image :: Magick on Debian etch?

I have been trying to install Image :: Magick on Debian etch for a while without much success.

I have it installed graphicsmagick-libmagick-dev-compat, but I can’t find it .debfor Perl Image::Magick.and cpan -i Image::Magickit gives me all kinds of compilation errors.

Does anyone know a good combination of software so that I can finally write use Image::Magick?

I have an answer: perlmagick installation package . Hope this doesn't help me :)

Have you tried libgraphics-magick-perl?
