Hippo CMS & Jetspeed

I am considering a solution for managing my content between a website and an intranet and have played with Hippo CMS in conjunction with Jetspeed. Is it good the bus does anyone experience this combination? And where do you shop for more portlets?

I have experience with this solution. This year, Hippo unveiled a fully rewritten version of its CMS. This new version 7 will eventually get all the features available in the previous version, but currently it is not (for now). However, rewriting has also made CMS more flexible and extensible. They provide website development tools using the HMS-CMS as a backend. This toolkit (called HST2) creates fairly general components, as they can easily be converted to portlets that can be deployed to the Jetspeed portal (in fact, you only need to change one build parameter to get this working). Hippo also has an integrated solution in its product line called the Hippo Portal. However, this is based on the old version of Hippo CMS and Jetspeed and will eventually be obsolete (I suppose).
