Cvs for Mac OSX

Is there a place where I can only get the cvs executable for OSX as a standalone binary?

I don’t want to go through everything I need to download Xcode to get cvs, which I don’t use, except that the source for flickrj is published only through the cvs repository.

All links below are dead, and the instructions below only work for OS X Mavericks.

This answer on apple.stackexchange.com seems to solve the problem using third-party package managers.

I don’t know what happened to other posts:

  • Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard).
  • Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard) DVD.
  • XcodeTools.mpkg, . /Xcode Tools.

Homebrew:

brew tap homebrew/dupes # cvs is on the homebrew-dupes repository.

If you have xcode installed, the command line cvs binary is in / Developer / usr / bin, so put it in your path:

export PATH=/Developer/usr/bin:$PATH
0
source

after installing Xcode using the command line Utillities
export PATH = / Applications / Xcode.app / Contents / Developer / usr / bin: $ PATH
for new versions of Xcode.
without moving xcode from place to place! =)
