I'm curious to know which craigslist and kijiji database schema is using. They have many categories and cities that are constantly growing. Levels also sometimes get deeper (subcategories, as well as areas / areas).
Most of all, I don’t understand how they manage their categories. What is the structure of the database behind their configuration? They have so many categories and subcategories, let someone send goods inside cars → Spare parts and accessories> Racing parts
A few days later, people request more subcategories in the Racing Parts section:
* Accessories
* Auto Racing Parts
* Fasteners, Fluids & Gaskets
* Kart Racing Parts
* Safety Equipment
* Other
So now they have a new level for the Racing parts, which go like this:
* Motors -> Parts & Accessories > Racing Parts > Accessories
* Motors -> Parts & Accessories > Racing Parts > Fasteners etc..
