Sap, abap, java, .net

I have two years of dotnet development experience. I am trying to migrate to SAP. What is better to choose in Netweaver ie Java or ABAP, or there are any opportunities for this on the dotnet platform. What should be the most promising for the future. Googling I found out that Java gives the ABAP background. Make a comment.

You have experience working with a language that can interact with SAP, so you can start with this part and then learn ABAP as part of your work. You will, however, need to learn ABAP, as you cannot always rely on ABAPper to explain to you why / how somme data is calculated / retrieved in ERP. It is also useful to use the code for your own functions (still pay attention to the standard of ABAP-coding of the company))

I am both a technical expert in HR and a leading specialist / team leader in the SAP Portal (Java) application developer, and someone who can look at both sides of the connection (even if it is not an expert in both domains) is a very helpful person in the team developers.

ABAP is pretty easy to learn. The difficult thing in mastering SAP programming is understanding the business functionality of the various components. Many SAP programmers seem to focus on one functional area and study programming aspects. HR / Payroll is usually considered one of the most difficult areas to study.

The team I'm headed is actually responsible for all of the .NET user systems and the SAP ERP system, so I feel your pain to a certain extent.

Good luck.
