How to configure N2 CMS in a "corporate" environment?

I played with N2 CMS , and so far I have been impressed. But this seems like a big step to move from examples to a "corporate level" solution.

I really need strong permissions and roles integrated with Active Directory. So far, I have been playing with membership and role providers and getting things like rolling. But I would really like to compare what I did with how people actually use this thing.

How did you configure and deploy N2 CMS in your rather large organization?

Update:

This issue has become a contentious issue for us. We decided to use Umbraco because many of the features we needed were included out of the box. N2 still seems like a good system for certain things.

The N2 role and membership function is built to use ASP.NET membership and role providers. Thus, you should simply remove the active directory providers and start using them. See this post for more information and some sample code that might help you.

Permissions for pages and areas of the site are managed by N2 through the Security screen in the Administrator section and for the ContentItems of the AvailableRoles attribute of the Page / PartDefinition attributes. The permissions for the admin section itself are controlled in the web.config file for this folder on your website.
