Troubleshoot iPhone after update 3.0.1

Previously, I could run my application on my iPhone running 3.0. After upgrading to version 3.0.1, I get an error message:

A connected iPhone OS device is not connected.

I followed the Apple director in the terminal:

ln -s /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0\ \(7A341\) / 
Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0.1

but it did not help.

Make sure that you do not paste it into the terminal, as you currently have (and how Apple has it in its PDF). It should be one line, not two.

ln -s /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0\ \(7A341\) /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0.1

not

ln -s /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0\ \(7A341\) /

Let you do this, duplicate the folder in /Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/DeviceSupport/3.0\ \(7A341\)and rename it to 3.0.1
