After decryption, a few characters remain

This is my original xml:

This is the result after the encryption / decryption process.

As you can see, several characters are missing.

Found a problem. At

        cos.close();

before the line:

        fos.close();

At least that fixed it on my box.

After writing the encrypted output, call

cos.close();

instead

fos.close();

Closing the cos object also closes the underlying fos object.

I agree with JASON. You must close the Cipher stream instead of the file. even you can explicitly close both, but make sure you close the encryption stream first and then the file stream. only flushing will not help. at least it didn't work for me. :)
