Build Solution no longer works in Visual C ++

I am working on a personal project in Visual C ++ 2008, and for some reason the "Build Solution" is no longer working ... code changes are not logged unless I use the "Rebuild Solution".

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

I tried Google but did not find anything useful ...

Have you verified that all projrcts commands are compiled in the configuration manager? (Right-click on the SLN in Solution Explorer and select “Configuration Manager.” Also, I came across this once on VS2008 and “fixed” it, converting it to .NET 2.0 and returning to solution 3.5.

Try a “Clean Solution” - this will delete any output files that may have dodgy timestamps.

(“Reconstruction” should mean “Clean,” but you never know.)

Pls. check if all projects (managed / unmanaged) are loaded in the solutions. In my application code there is no link to one of the projects in C ++. Renamed and it worked for me. Try it.
