Fiddler slows down my browsers

Work with a violinist for 2 pcs. On my improved PC, the violinist significantly slows down both browsers (firefox and IE7).

any suggestions will be appreciated

I think this is just a function of what the violinist does.

Ultimately, Fiddler is a debugging tool, not something you should run all the time. Debugging tools usually make the thing being debugged work slower.

I found that Fiddler adds more and more delays as the list of sessions grows. After I captured about 1/2 million sessions, it added about 3 seconds to each request.

If this is your problem, just delete all sessions from time to time or set a filter to reduce traffic.
