How to do email distribution with django-mailer

Question

I am making a django application which should be able to do emails and then send them at a specific time. I thought I could use django-mailer to queue things and then send it. But even though it’s a function in the list of example examples in the list, I don’t seem to know how to do it.

I need to configure the when_to_send field in the django-mailer message model, and when the cron job starts the send_mail function, I need to filter out those that have the when_to_send date that is longer than the current time ...
