How does the staff web service structure compare with others for C ++?

I can’t answer your question in full detail, but I’ve been looking for a framework of C ++ SOA / web service for a year now.

My favorites (all OpenSource and platform independent - not ordered) currently:

GSOAP - http://www.cs.fsu.edu/~engelen/soap.html

pros:

• proven, reliable, very fast
• great documentation, many support
• still supported - issued every 3-6 months

contrast:

• WSDL / client generators are not free
• C, ++
