I am working on a project that implements several Java web applications (and related JAR files) using Seam.
What is considered best practice for incorporating version information in deployments? I need to understand how web applications should contain and publish their versions and how this can be done for JAR files.
thanks
there are sun specifications and tutorials .
You have several options when it comes to version number:
.
Maven , Maven Maven , :
foo-core-1.0.0.jar foo-ui-1.0.0.jar foo-app-1.1.0.war ...
Maven POM META_INF/maven/[groupId]/[artifactId]/pom.xml, , . .
, , , ant. :
