Hanging CruiseControl

Here is the problem. Our cruisecontrol installation for continuous integration (V2.5, configured to work with subversion) works just fine - except for the days on which we most need it! Here is what I mean. I inherited the configuration from a former college, but as far as I can tell, the configuration has worked fine for many years. But on certain days when activity is intense, with more checks and faster changes, the cruise seems to hang for no reason. The build results page displays a clean blue screen all of a sudden, and the builds don't work there until I go back and restart the cruise service.

This also means that intermittent checks do not start assemblies.

Has anyone encountered this problem before? I am considering switching to a new version, but I want to know what others think. Any known issues? resolution at hand?

Appreciate any help - I would like for me to stay alive for a long time (encoders get more and more annoyed every day with this frustrated behavior).

And I don’t really like switching tools, if I have no reason to drop one that is already in place.

Thanks in advance!

There were several problems in 2.5 that could make it stop working, try using the jstack tool to find out what java streams are, see what code they got stuck in.
