ASP.NET Application Architecture

Question

In the near future, my company is going to "break" the application (big!) ASP.NET. We are currently in the design phase, and most of the ASP.NET applications that I developed in the past were relatively small - less than a few dozen pages and 1 or 2 developers.

Can someone point out any resources, whether online or otherwise, that include some kinds of best practices or common architectures for large ASP.NET applications?

Take a look at the Application Architecture Guide from templates and practices. This is not all ASP.NET, but it is comprehensive and free, and deals with all levels of architecture.
