My exe works fine on its own, but does nothing when loading a service

A simple exe for the tray icon that works great regardless

I call it using the Windows service and it seems to start (in the task manager), but dosnt seems to be executing some kind of code. those. tray icon, etc.

In Vista and Windows 2008, services start in a different session than the user — any EXE that starts the service will run in the same session as the service. Before Vista, you need to check the box "Allow service to interact with the desktop", otherwise it applies.
