Porting the webkit layout engine

Question

I want to port webkit based browser to my stack. Can anyone talk about organizing the webkit browser engine? Currently, I know that it has kernels for html rendering and javascript analysis. I would like to know more, for example, how do the javascript and renderer kernels interact with each other?
