Are users who include "Captcha: blah blah blah" in the comments of the site devaluing the captcha in general?

In the comments on the blog for SO and other blogs, I noticed a tendency that some users post what they had to decide in order to get their message.

Do they do this to help intercept passwords?

If so, is there a way to programmatically (server side) compare user input with captcha to exclude it from the comment? Is it worth the effort?
