WPF Path vs Image png jpg

Question

Consider a Buttonconsisting of many graphical elements (s Path) drawn on Canvas. Why is it better to use Pathother elements to create an image in Buttonthan to assign it Bitmap?

I know one advantage: "the path is a vector image." But if I do not plan to zoom in, why should I use it instead of my custom .png, .ico and .jpg images?

Using a path makes it less likely, your button will look blurry at different DPIs, which often happens with bitmaps.
