Is there a 64-bit version of SSMS and BIDS with SQL Server 2008 64 bit?

Today we had a very intense discussion at work regarding the availability of the 64-bit version of SSMS and BIDS with 64-bit SQL Server 2008.

Although I know for sure that such a thing does not exist for SQL 2005, I could neither convince nor prove that this did not exist for 64-bit SQL Server 2008. The lead developer, who claims that it exists, even went so far as to that said that with 64-bit SQL 2008 you can double click on the SSIS package and edit it in SSMS. I suspect the developer is referring to a service plan.

As we run out of time, the discussion will continue tomorrow. I searched the Internet and Microsoft, but I can not find a lot of documentation on this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
