Question

Problem: to make the team work here. My domain is http://cs.edu.com/user/share_dir , but I cannot get the command to work by typing it in a browser:

http://cs.edu.com/user/share_dir:8000

Question: How can I make the team work?

Your url is invalid. The port number must be specified after the domain name:

http://cs.edu.com:8000/

Some other things you should keep in mind:

• If it is a shared host, port 8000 may already be in use by someone else
• The host may be unavailable from outside the network due to firewall restrictions on non-standard ports
