What are the maximum concurrent HTTP connections allowed on one computer (Windows Server 2008) using python

To be more specific, I use python and create an HTTPConnection (httplib) pool and wondered if there is a limit on the number of simultaneous HTTP connections on a Windows server.

In HTTP RFC, a client must not support more than two simultaneous connections to a web server or proxy. However, most browsers do not comply with this: firefox 3.5 allows 6 per server and 8 per proxy.
