How can I get the GUI application to start when Windows starts in a modified Windows window that does not launch explorer.exe.
- Link placement Programs → Launch folder is not executed.
- My application is graphical, so I can’t just change the application to run as a service.
Background
I have an application that needs to be run on a dedicated PC, which is used to create content for Digital Signage. This is the type of software that generates ads and various slideshow materials that you see on Plasma / LCD screens in large organizations.
I had experience working with several different providers of such content management software, and they basically create a Windows application and then select things from windows to prevent a pop-up from appearing. One of the suppliers, m, dealing right now, the windows have been changed in such a way that it explorer.exedoes not start.
Launch in the launch function of our program uses the link in the startup folder. I found that since explorer.exemy application does not work either.
