Using header files from another project (directory)

I am using Visual Studio 2008, and I need to use specific header files from another project. I tried adding the path to the "Include Additional Directories" in the C / C ++ General Properties area, but my project still throws the same errors

(fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'tools/rcobject.h'.

All the other cpp and header files that I use, I added as existing files from another directory, and for some headers it gives an error, but for others it doesn't. After adding the additional included directories, no changes occurred.

Can someone help me, I'm stuck as I need to debug ...
