Does anyone know if Android addProximityAlert in LocationManager is an intense battery

I just want to add about 20, and sometimes 80 warnings about approaching without expiration with a radius of about 500 meters. Just wondering if this can do, quickly absorb the battery? will there also be a difference in decreasing radius?

This will certainly fit your battery well. In any case, you will never want to set more than a few proximity alerts, in the case of the use you are describing, it is not actually supported in proximity alerts.
