Where is the commercially useful monthly zipcode dataset?

Question

Many websites offer this data (see http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q= "average + temperature" + by + zip + code), but I don’t have the data they use.

I looked a little at the National Meteorological Service (see, for example, http://www.rdc.noaa.gov/~foia/index.html#electronic ) and did not see this. NWS is located at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). NOAA Links:

He looks so close, but I still haven't found him.

Used NOAA in the past for fantastic results. I believe that they have daily and monthly landfills. Actually a ton of information, but it is surprisingly interesting!
