When are documents and settings \ USER \ Local Settings \ Temp deleted?

Question

I have a query regarding the directory returned from the Path.GetTempPath () function.

It returns "C: \ Documents and Settings \ USER \ Local Settings \ Temp" as the directory.

I save some temporary files there, and I wonder when this folder is cleaned up, so I know how long they will exist if it is cleared of everything that is.

Is it every time I restart my computer? or does it happen after a certain amount of time? or is a space used?

It is cleaned only when it is cleaned.
