How to transfer a session from one application to another?

I have 2 applications. Suppose A and B. I have a web page in app A where I am setting up a session, and in app B I want to get this session. How can I do this without using DB?

Sessions are application specific, and I don’t think you can exchange data between two applications through a session. You will need to transfer data through some other medium. You can serialize it and pass it through the POST parameter. You can also use cookies. If this is really small data, you can simply pass it in the GET parameters of the query string.

Something like this is used to talk from Admin servers to Production servers ... But I myself did not go through the session itself ...
