Why is my local path mapping not a link in the Team Explorer source control window, but my work assistants have a hyperlink

I have installed visual studio 2008 sp1, but still my explorer contributor shows a hyperlink to the local path

If you installed Team Explorer after installing VS SP1, you need to re-run the SP1 installer to update the bits of Team Explorer.

This indicates that the installation either went wrong or another update interfered with your Visual Studio.

Try to apply the service pack again?
