What are some good resources to learn about the Zend system?

What is an effective way for those who know PHP and Ruby on Rails to quickly find the Zend platform?

I think that already having experience with RoR and PHP, you have already violated the task. RoR follows the same architecture pattern as the Zend Framework (MVC); and therefore you will already have an abstract understanding of your first Zend Framework application.

I don’t know of any resources that are specifically designed for the transition of RoR programmers to Zend Framework programmers (which would make a good topic for the book), however, with (at least) syntactic understanding of PHP, d we recommend reading one of the following articles:
