Detect another process bit (on Windows)

How do I know if another 32/64 bit process is running on Windows? I know how to do this for my own process, but not for another process. Advice or decision in any language will be fine. Thanks!

Give up on IsWow64Process .

Windows XP SP2 also has IsWow64Process (). Therefore, you cannot guarantee that you are running under 64-bit 64-bit versions of Windows when you find IsWow64Process () in the kernel32.dll file.
