Sleep mode to access stored procedure

We have a restriction on access to the database only through calls to stored procedures. Caching is also prohibited. Does it make sense to use the Hibernate framework, where you do not use features such as building complex relationships based on complex queries or caching? We use the opportunity to use the lightweight version of jdbc.

Sleep mode makes sense if you are going to map objects to tables. I do not see how HQL can benefit you otherwise.

I would look at JDBC or Spring JDBC.
