Where to place custom and third-party classes in a CakePHP project?

Question

I just started working on an existing CakePHP project. I will develop a class that performs some operations in an Excel spreadsheet. Like the PEAR object, the class will be called by the Cake components, but by itself, it will not call any Cake components. Where is the best place to place a class file in a project hierarchy?
