What can I learn from Grails?

If I know Rails, what new ideas / templates will I learn if I look at Grails? I'm not going to move to Grails and don't need a Java stack, but if there are clear ideas that I could learn from Grails, I would like to study them.

Grails is not the foundation. This is a stack of frameworks. You can find all the functions that you will find in simple environments Spring, Hibernate, Quartz, Compass, Sitemesh. So in the end, you get the best of all of these frameworks with a configuration setting.
