Regarding multitasking in an Android app

I want to run several applications at the same time. How one application should start in the background when starting a new application, and I need to switch between these two applications.

If you want to run something in the background, you must use Service . Services are not killed, except in extreme memory situations. Read the Application Basics for more details .
