Quality support for Sybase ASE in Delphi

Question

I have Delphi Professional 2007 and 2009, and I thought about upgrading one or both of them from Enterprise because of a new project that requires me to interact with the Sybase ASE database.

I did some research, and it looks like the Sybase 2007 driver has leaked into memory, and it seems this problem has not been fixed.

Does anyone know if Codegear Enterprise drivers for Sybase ASE are reliable and are there any alternatives?

BDE had some huge flaws, and it seems that many of them were brought directly into DBExpress. Some of them include:
