.NET Guitar Synthesizer Library

I am wondering if there are any .NET libraries (ideally open source) that deal with guitar chords (for example, given a chord or a set of combinations of frets and strings, it can get the corresponding fret / string combination or chord respectively )

I'm having trouble finding, because "C #" is a note, and there is the concept of "programming" in music.

It seems to me that you are actually asking for a collection of digitized guitar chords, not some specific library. I think if you are looking for a database of guitar chords, you will find several downloadable programs that include a database, but I have not yet found freely available db chords. Unfortunately, freebase does not seem to contain chords.

Perhaps all the chords are calculated based on the breakdown of their names. In this case, you need a library, or at least a formula instead of db. But I do not think so. There is some naming explanation here .

I used the base DLL from the application to create the MVC version of the Chordious chord finder. Feel free to take a look at this if you want: http://chordiousweb.gear.host
